I ordered an in stock SSD from MSI, and it took them 3 days before it shipped out lol (ordered 4/6/24 shipped 4/9/24)

MSI was only waiting on the processor and according to them they were expediting the orders since it had been 10+ days since the orders were placed. 4 days to take a box out of one and put it in another seems excessive to me.

Can't be for sure, but the E stands for enhanced, so I believe it will come with more connections than usual, the 870 would have more of the future proof things

CPU came taped to the outside of the mobo box in just the plastic holder no retail packaging. Very disappointed hopefully everything works.

Yeah the plastic clamshell was taped to the outside of the mobo box. They could have at least put it inside the mobo box.

I just received the same thing. No documentation, just a clam shell and it wasn't taped to anything. Just bouncing around in the box. Also, the motherboard box wasn't sealed. I haven't purchased a motherboard in a while, but is it normal for the box not to be sealed shut?

After the 18 day wait to get the actual order and the state in which it arrived, I believe I am done with MSI in the future.

I *think* I can recall where one wasn't, but usually they have the round sticker sealing it, yes. Mine is suppose to be here today, so we'll see if it continues the trend here..

Ya, mine showed up today after a delivery mishap yesterday and its the same: CPU in a clamshell taped to the outside of the unsealed Mobo box.. Not worried though.
