See previous threads here on T-Mobile. They have become really consumer unfriendly in the last couple of years.
2) Phone cannot be cracked in the screen and no moisture/water damage. Also, cannot have destroyed pixels and dead spots. The back of the phone can have some wear & tear and cracks.
3) Best deal is to buy a Samsung S10 from eBay for your trade-in. This promotion will probably last another two weeks based on what they are saying from the subreddit.
4) You can get $100 Costco cashcard for being a Costco member. You can call or in-store. I've done both. I would probably call as it was quicker and just as simple. You also don't need to bring the phone with you. Just an IMEI. Just make sure the phone you are submitting qualifies or else you're going to be in a heap of trouble submitting the IMEI of a phone that might come cracked, etc.,
5) You can ship your trade-in phone or bring it in to a T-Mobile corporate store. Just tell them you have a phone to trade in... They will do basic checks and automatically approve your phone for trade-in on the spot. Saves you the hassle of UPS losing your trade-in phone during shipment.
Most of these questions have been asked... Just look at the old T-Mobile thread from two weeks ago.

Costco
Over the phone, they asked for my membership number
In store, you need a Costco membership to get in to Costco
Not sure why you keep trusting comments from a random rep instead of their official policy on website. (Also my bill was out yesterday and no any DCC charges).
Total amount financed at 0% APR
This is the total cost of your new iPhone.
Includes $30 connectivity discount (requires carrier activation)
Again INCORRECT re above - the upgrade fee is $35 NOT $30
The above quote refers to the price of the iphone. If you get an unlocked one thats not activated its $30 more. Just try it onlineā¦..
Not saying you werent charged the upgrade fee but what you quoted is NOT about the upgrade fee.

F&&& T-Mobile and their uncarrier price lock guarantee BS.
I will never lock myself into another monthly credit promo ever again. It's either outright promo or unlocked from now on.

I have a 10 line simple choice account, so far no text on my end. I will ask the other users on the account if they have recieved a text
In the meantime, I think we should send the FCC a message about what tmobile did and how they should not be allowed to lock us in and then weeks later make these type of changes.
I remember when the first increases happened last year, I contacted the FCC from a link in reddit and tmobile even sent me a letter that my account was not increasing.

Do you know the number it came from? I just checked my primary line and did not receive a text.
I'm reading it could take a few days to get a text

First phone to run what would become Android. Also have the first phones to run Android in my drawer. End of an era

What rate plan are you on? Did you get the price increase text?
