Yes it does. We use it all the time. Soon it will also include encrypted messaging as well. iPhone users needed to update to IOS 18+ for it to work.

Bottom line: this is a great deal if you can get it. I already have Google Fi wireless and love it. Unfortunately, I'm paying regular price (which is still competitive). Final thought: the original post is confusing AF. But, if you're in the market for new wireless service, take a moment to digest the deal — it's worthwhile.

You take your number to the next cheaper provider.
I jump sbip every year or 2 now. Sucks that loyalty is not rewarded and only new customers benefit from perks such as discounted phones or lines.
Great deal for me as I was looking to get two lines for $up or under. Don't need the frills of add-ons or giveaways

For some reason, SD did a terrible job getting this deal in front of people. I didn't see it until yesterday, even when specifically searching "Google Fi" on SD days ago.

Former customer. Shame that Google Fi de-prioritizes it's customers during peak times/hours based on their contract with major carriers.

Google does not own cell towers, so they are in Contract with major Cellular providers based on where your device is "pinging". You can start your day on Verizon service and end on T-mobile. This give you various data speed qualities. I was lucky to connect at a 3G service quality in a 4G region.

The phone call signal was not good at my address...this was partially due to our location. Now I am with Verizon and I have no issue...ironic because with Google Fi, I was still pinging the same Verizon service.

Wrong information, Google Fi only uses T-mobile network now when it started as Project FI in 2015 it used T-Mobile, Sprint and US Mobile which needed a specific phones supporting both GSM and CDMA networks and it was big advantage at that time because you are covered by 3 networks once Sprint got merged into T-Mobile it only uses T-Mobile now.
So yes Google Fi coverage could be slower then T-mobile at certain places and time.

i was going to wait but glad someone posted that the deal ends at 959am. 4 lines for $50 is cheaper than the 80 I pay for 2 lines by far.
