I own this and it's somewhat of a beast. It has tons of power and it cuts through large sections of hedge with ease. It will run for an hour on a single charge and you can cut a lot of hedge in that time. It's somewhat heavy, but not awful.

My only issue with it is that the brushless motor has electronic protection that shuts it off at the first sign of being clogged/jammed. When that happens, you have to manually remove all the blockage. Every tiny little bit. I have to use 2 flathead screwdrivers to clear these clogs. It becomes annoying. I have a cheaper 18v from Ryobi that has a brushed motor and it gets jammed, unless it's a 1/2" branch, you just have to hit the power switch a few times and it will push itself through the clog 99% of the time. This one can't do that due to the motor protection.

It's also this price at Lowe's. Can knock a bit more off with military discount or gift cards bought at reduced prices.
