These are the old-school zinc carbon batteries that we all had to endure before we were saved by Duracell and the Energizer bunny. These are a great price but set your expectations of performance low.
In low-drain applications like smoke alarms, these should last maybe half as long as you expect. In high-drain applications like camera flashes they will only last 10-20% as long as you expect.
Zinc carbon batteries also have a shelf-life of only 18-24 months and I could not find a use-by date on the batteries I saw in store.
These are the most worthless batteries I've ever used. Most were DOA out of the package or lasted 1 minute.
If you put these in your TV remote control you'll be lucky to change the channel four times before they're completely crapped out and dead. As stated, these are the most worthless batteries that I've ever existed
While this is a good price, you're much better off getting the 18-pk Thunderbolt Edge alkaline batteries at current Parking Lot sale for $3.82 + tax.
Some people prefer the non alkaline batteries for low drain devices in expensive test equipment like multimeters. These don't leak or at least nowhere near the rate at which alkalines do.
I will gladly scoop up some AA and AAA's for less than $2 to put in my test equipment.

I just replaced the batteries in the sensor for my wireless thermometer that had been running in my continuously in my refrigerator for 2 years. I was very surprised to find these HF batteries inside of it. I think they are good for low-drain devices. I use name brand for most things... I'd rather pay a little more and not replace batteries as often.

This absolutely explains the price. This is not a deal.
Good luck!

$6.99 flat rate shipping. If you buy 10 packs it's the same shipping.
Unfortunately no C or D for shipping.
