I'm guessing because everything about it screams old... This thing is a 12th Gen and we are ostensibly at 16th Gen. Graphics card is now 2 generations back as well. It just doesn't seem to be a large enough discount on something that has been in the warehouse the last 4 years.

Why not?
Seems this 4060 laptop is about the same price as the cheapest 4070 laptops, but you get 2 in 1 touch capabilities if you want that, and it comes with 32GB (soldered) vs 16GB on the 4070. Plus 3 year warranty and windows 11 pro.

MSI build quality for laptops is garbage. All plastic, all flimsy and wobbly. Bad keyboard too
