It's just the online and brick and mortar distributor Liberated Brands that's going bankrupt. The Quiksilver, Volcom, and Billabong brands will carry on, just with someone else as the distributor.
So you will still be able to buy these branded products in the future.

Some of my favorite shorts. Especially since they have "odd" waist sizes (e.g. 31, 33). Definitely do not need any new ones right now but might as well get a couple of pairs and keep them in storage since I will never be able to buy them again.

That's true but unfortunately what's likely to happen it these brands will be licensed out and you'll see them selling at Walmart with much lower quality.

For those that have and like the shorts, how does the sizing run? Some clothes waist 32 is very loose, but then 30 barely fits one leg. Run big? Small? Right on? I'm 5'8 so some of the shorts are running to my knees.

20" outseam = ~9.5" inseam. The freakin shorts (not on sale) are 20" outseam. The Kerosine shorts (on sale) are 21" outseam. A lot of the others are 22" outseam. All too long for my taste. I'm 5'8" as well

I tried to use mine on the last day and they wouldn't allow me to redeem the points together with the large percentage discount. It was either Volcom or Quiksilver, don't remember which.

i put in the code and they showed up $13.60 each for me - with $8 shipping and around $50 for 3 pairs of shorts it was not really worth it when I have most of these already.

best shorts I own though.

Has anyone tried these shorts and can comment on sizing?

A lot of reviews complain the sizing is way off for these shorts and this is final sale. They also complain there is no stretch despite the name. I have bought Frikin Tuner in the past and the sizing was correct.

I really like these shorts, but I honestly can't tell the difference between the stretch version and the non-stretch version beyond the sticker that said "stretch." Calling them "Stretch Shorts" feels like a bit of a stretch, IMO!
