I'vehad this same model (or one very similar) for a few years now. I've never oiled it, I don't respect the duty cycle, and I basically don't take care of it at all. It's been bulletproof for me so far. Highly recommended.

I have been a fan of this brand of shredder for many years. When my first one broke after many years of use, I had to search for one and found that Walmart sold this brand. Anyway, getting on this good deal for an extra one for the garage so I can shred paper downstairs.

Just used mine, definitely not heavy duty, i would not shred more than 3-4 pages at the same time

I've had mine for over a year now, never oiled it and it works great. I shred old credit cards on it and shred 7-8 pages at a time. Everything shred criss cross even old cards

In maintenance section, it says to oil monthly... curious if you guys are oiling it, I do it when I remember to do it, maybe once every 3 months

Money well spent. I overfed it once and now it sometimes has a skippybeebob while it shreds documents but still works like an old Toyota. never did no naintancw aside from clearing shreds in the drums. have this for bout 4 years now.
