I just picked up a pair after my Distil alert notified me. Came here to post and staff beat me to it. These will replace my R-28s I got from Adorama back in 2020, so my whole 5.2.2 will now be reference premiere other than my 2 M-12 subs. Not as good as Black Friday pricing, but still good for the mark 2's.
I just hope they blend well with my existing RP-450C.

Glad I waited for ebony and didn't pull the trigger on the walnut ones. Can't wait for these to be delivered.

Not saying this isn't a good price and honestly if you need to replace one blown speaker you really don't have a choice. But for those looking to get into a full system (which Klipsch is hard to beat on value/performance), why not get a full, properly matched, 5.2 system for $400 more or a 5.1 system for $99 more.

Sure you are moving from dual 8" woofers to dual 6.5" woofers, but you're adding 2, 12" 400W front-firing subs for another $400 or one for $99 bucks and in essence getting the center channel and surround sounds for free vs. this deal. Just sayin'.

That set is for the regular reference line, the towers in this deal are the reference premier and are WAY better and well worth it.

I have a 450C as well. And that's what keeps me hesitant. I also have surrounds from the same line as the 450C.

Definitely don't want up firing Atmos. Rarely worth it.

I would agree, it's the weakest alternative & not worth the cost.

If you had to go that route, you're better off with the 500sa.
They are much more versatile and can be used as another alternative as elevation/height position Atmos speakers.

I upgraded from the 610f to the 8000ii last time they were on sale. Big upgrade.

Awesome, thank you! Noticeable for both movies and music? What were the areas you noticed the biggest difference?

I think a lot of people on Slickdeals jumped on those deals a couple years ago, Cherry style as well? I have the same setup and I just added the speakers from this deal along with a 12 inch RP subwoofer and I don't notice a problem, but then again I haven't heard a full matching set before. The visual mismatch is more impactful than the audio mismatch IMO, but even then I don't think about it once I turn off the lights and watch a show or movie.

I would agree, it would be more a visual mismatch.
Between series(I, II) you might hear a slight difference side by side.
Other than that, good luck hearing a difference.
