Ryzen 5 5500 is limited to PCIE 3.0, no matter the motherboard, SSD, or GPU. FYI.

Some GPUs lose performance based on PCIE speed, but if you're buying this cheap of CPU, its probably the least of your concerns.

Motherboard is a pretty good deal at $90.

A $60 new boxed 5500 is a good deal. Yes, it's now old, but if you have i5-6400 with some decent RAM (say 3000 MHZ or faster) this would be a good way to keep windows running with updates for another decade.

If you need PCIe 4, 3600 can be had used for $60.
