I got this from Walmart clearance for $100. It's good but wouldn't get it again. Might be worth it to try and see.

Wouldn't get it again... Sounds like it's bad, not good. Anything in particular that explains not getting it again?

i have one. it doesnt have the OOMPH!(bass) by itself until u pair it with the bass module. The dialogue on movies are great, it just really needs to pair with bose bass module.

Can you simply tell to your google assistant (on your phone or other device listening) to "Play spotify on Speaker X" to directly play on this Sound bar? Is it possible to do this while the TV is off (and might turn off the sound bar if HDMI CEC is enabled)?

Tried one last time around. Sounded like a glorified center channel, but not much more. Dialog was very clear, however. Probably just spoiled from our 7.2 setup, although it's a good 15 years old, it still sounds better.

FYI, this soundbar works with most "Klipsch" brand of subwoofers. Bose bass modules are overpriced and can be avoided if you're fine connecting a non-bose subwoofer.

I did recently found out about this, I read somewhere that Klipsch Reference R-8SW does work with 3.5mm to rca. I dont remember if bose sees it as module 700 or something else I forgot. thanks!
