I have bought 3 sets of these scissors to keep in various spots around the house & garage and for the money they're awesome. We even keep a set in the kitchen of my work that get used and washed multiple times a day everyday and they have held up with no issues. Only thing that I'd knock on them is the middle sized pair are designed to come apart at the hinges which can make them awkward to use at times. For the coupon price, I'd highly recommend them!

I was looking at these the other day and literally almost all the negative reviews are people complaining the middle pair "broke"...it shows in pictures that it comes apart so you can cut with it so completely ignore those reviews

That's the one for the kitchen - it comes apart to easily wash off any icky substances as part of prep for use on food.

I use these with paper and other thin materials. They are fine for stuff like that. I'll go pick up another set at $3.

More excited about the Quinn socket sets going on discount this fri at the faux parking lot sale held in store. Don't know why they keep calling it parking lot sale though, when they haven't put up tents in years.

these are decent utility sheers, tougher than typical orange-handle stuff and a decent blade to handle angle for the big ones.

The small pair is very uncomfortable to use and the set I received was extremely tight.

A little 3 in 1 oil and some light sanding can fix the tightness, but the handles could stand to be bigger.

If you want a better pair of scissors of similar size, it's hard to beat a cheap pair of medical shears.

Yes. I was surprised at how hefty these scissors felt (the 3 pack). They are the nicest pairs I've ever had in my toolbox.
