Good deal on a good cpu. If tariffs go into affect computers may get more costly.

I just bought the 5750 (to replace my failed 5700) for near the same price. Is this worth swapping out for 5750? As I was trying not to swap MB if possible. I'm assuming the AM4/AM5 would be the determining factor in the MB swap necessity.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen a CPU fail before. Do you know how that happened? If it's the motherboard causing it, then might want to get new PC instead.

You're going to have to replace the MB too as the 5000 series of CPUs was the last to use the AM4 slot.
