Why not, I could use a 3rd backup for my higher quality one at this price. These are great for making flush cuts on mortise & tenon, dowels, etc.

Doesn't seem obviously better than something like this for under $7 after coupon on product page?

I have a ryoba pull saw from this brand and it is pretty well balanced and sharp. I like this saw from Lowe's for it portability and versatility. It can do what this saw does and more.

I bought this saw last year and it has been extremely useful to me cutting studs, door trims, etc. I might even consider getting a second one.

Do not buy. There is an offset on the teeth. You will not be able to cut flush without destroying the wood around it. I bought this after I bought the one listed on this deal:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T9K59D1

There are many others on Amazon or Woodcraft that don't have a tooth offset.

Japanese handsaw: Made in China

I'm pretty sure "Japanese" is just a description of the style, not the origin.

I have a larger version of this and the main thing i use it for is to trim a hawthrone tree in my yard. It takes more pulls but something about using the dozuki style saw is very satisfying to me. I have cut probably (25) 1 to 2 inch diameter branches. Still sharp.

once you use one it basically replaces all other saws.

This actual Japanese flush cut saw is currently on sale at Woodcraft.

Edit: slickdeals affiliate tracking breaks the link. It's the #1150 Razorsaw (Gyokucho), for $12.49
