I was looking at this last month. They just came out with a Hercules version. That looks like the same specs. This one was $10 more than the Hercules iirc at $160. Crazy good deal.

Great deal. I got mine for $99 on sale a while ago. No regrets. Really speeds up surface prep.

Can this be used on old oak kitchen cabinets to speed up the preparing process before repainting them?

Used this to retreat a blackstone that had been out in elements for 2 years unused. Perfect tool.

I have two smokers that are rusty. Seems like a good tool for that? Posed as a question more than a statement ?

the 40 grit coarse drum would definitely chew through anything like wood.
The 240 grid seems soft, it may be handy where the 4" drum would get in areas smaller than a 5 or 6" orbital disk is a good fit?
Also a factor: the overall item is several times heftier and probably twice as long as a large orbital sander.

Anyone know if the 25% off one item emailed coupon would work on this?

Are drums common to other similar sanders?
