If you are evaluating the galaxy book 360 (ANY model) google "galaxy book 360 cracked screen". Every generation of this laptop going back to at least the second gen has had multiple users resporting spontaneous cracked screens. I still have a Galaxy Book 3 360 with a cracked screen. There is ZERO damage (no chips, dents, etc.), it was never dropped, etc. There are enough user reports that I would warn anyone away from these. The rate of occurence might not be massive but there are enough impacted users out there that I for one do not believe it's just a bunch of liars. It's the same story almost every time, an incredibly small hairline crack that is BARELY noticeable if the laptop is on/displaying content. Highly noticeable when the screen is off/showing black/reflecting sunlight. Touchscreen will typically still be fine and the screen will still otherwise function just fine. Appears to be some kind of issue with tolerance/stress/pressure on the display, the 360 models are RAZOR thin and probably too thin to the point that in SOME % greater than zero the screens are suffering non abuse related fractures... do your research, the repair cost is $600+ and samsung will not honor any warranty claim.

Also not seeing the option with EDU.

Op removed the link.
Now you have $200 credit if no trade in, makes it to be the price listed. Overall no way to make the price lower than $977. Not a good deal for what you get. Better off get a $799 laptop with 16" 3k OLED instead.

Updated the pricing in the OP with the correct discounts for EDU/EPP members. I must have gotten mixed up on which account I was on when I was taking these to checkout to get the final price.

Strange they won't fix it. I would have loved one since I'm all in with Samsung.

Almost bought a book5 360 few weeks ago, good thing I read about the defects. That and the extremely low trade in value of laptops.

Had book2 pro and Chromebook both crack for no reason. I stopped buying Samsung laptops. I would maybe trust the ultra just because it's not razor thin. Besides, in 2025, there are equally beautiful laptops and cheaper too. Samsung should be offering many more 32gb options by now too

I don't understand why my edu account can't see that price. I got a discount using Edu email before, but now Edu discount is not available. When I check on the Samsung app, it says that the discount is not applicable because of the Edu standard account. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I was supposed to get my 32GB on March 8th but the status has changed to "TBD". Any similar cases?
