I just bought this couple days ago because I got tired of waiting for the eBay pricing of Acer refurbished to come back down and I had Target gift cards going unused.

How is it? Arrived in original packaging? Missing anything?
Got it today. Had a sticky smudge on it so def not super clean but it looks ok.Gonna run it through some testing before I throw a fresh windows install/ssd/memory upgrade.Task Manager says it's 2 x 8gb for ram so that's disappointing. This teardown video shows 1 x 16gb.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CldVUPQNdWA
Interesting. yeah, wish it was a 1x16 gb. I wish you luck in testing and use. Thanks for the response.

I didn't have any issues with mine (other than horrible FedEx shipping) I threw in 64GB of RAM and an extra 1TB SSD and it's working great. One thing to note is that it didn't come with any documentation and was just in a plain box but was packed well. When I double checked on the warranty with Acer they did show it was a listed as a recertified unit and was fully supported and gave me contact information in case there are any issues
I am thinking on ordering the laptop today and just looking to see if anyone found any red flags?
No red flags but there is a lot of Acer programs running that I'm not thrilled about so I may reformat with a clean install of windows. Maybe wait for the next Win 11 release.
I had it static screen once during a gpu stress test but it's been good since then.
There is a very common problem with speaker clipping in the Nitro series so you may have to tinker with Realtek drivers.
Aside from that dropped Crucial 64GB memory and 4TB 990 Evo Plus and it's running like a champ.
Keep in mind this is available new from Microcenter for $899 again, but I had Target cards to use.
