Here's a warning for those that was a member before regardless how long it has been expired. When you go to redeem, they would deny the deal and insist you to renew, so you will not be eligible for the gift card. For those want to try anyway, you've been warned.

Not sure. Good question though. I will say, when I contacted Costco, they said they would not refund my membership since i already activated it. It cost me $60 to figure out I'll never fall for that crap again
Per their website: "On Membership: We will cancel and refund your membership fee at any time if you are dissatisfied."
Just signed up in the wife's name with the T-Mobile $30 Digital Card deal.
Mine expired last August, do they invalidate the shop card if the extra member was on the other account?
I suppose I could just go in and cancel for a refund if I don't get the Shop Card in a few weeks.
I think one way is, you wait for that $30 and then add your name in additional card holder
My membership ends this month. Can I ask my wife to sign up using this deal? She is an authorized user on my account. Not sure if that counts as a "New Costco Member".
