the 8000 series is only 60Hz now? My 2019 8000 series was 120hz with VRR. 1 year before that the 8000 series had local dimming.

No. Sam's has a 75" TCL with 120hz for $500. Got one last month. Costco might have a similar variant.

I don't understand why my edu account can't see that price. I got a discount using Edu email before, but now Edu discount is not available. When I check on the Samsung app, it says that the discount is not applicable because of the Edu standard account. Does anyone know why this is happening?
