In my opinion, you should be careful giving your kitty tuna consistently/every day. The high salt content is bad for a cat's kidneys, and the mercury in the tuna accumulates over time.

It's fine for an occasional/infrequent treat, though. What I do is split the can with my kitty when I make tuna fish salad about twice a week. I drain the can and give my cat the juice and some meat and use the rest for a simple tuna fish salad that only has chopped onions, Himalayan salt, and black pepper.

Overall, the tuna is really unappetizing, mushy and watery. Besides draining for a barely acceptable tuna fish salad and an occasional treat for cats, it's pretty terrible IMO...
