This is a great headset and compares to other top tier wireless headsets. It's worth $250 but if you are the market for a premium headset, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is a better deal on Woot! for $119
I have to the Virtuoso XT, the predecessor model, and I quite like them. Being able to connect via 2.4 ghz dongle, bluetooth, USB-C, or 3.5mm jack is actually really nice, and I've had use cases for all 4 connection types.
If this newer model is at all similar you'll get a better quality set of headphones and microphone with an ~$80 set of Phlips SHP9500 headphones and a V-moda boom pro mic attachment.
The XTs don't sound bad, but they're not particularly good headphones especially in this price range. The big appeal is as a headset that gives you a lot of options and very few hassles.
