I haven't heard anyone talking about either of these games for at least 10 years.
I tried a Madden about 5 years ago, and couldn't stand how long it took to get into an actual single player game... With all the load times, slow menus, advertisements and commercials, I noped after the first game.
Back to ESPN NFL 2K5 (GOAT) or Blitz 2000 for my fooseball fix.

With that, they really should have a simple mode for calling plays as all the options and everything is pretty overwhelming, especially when you have a clock going. Probably doesn't help that outside of an hour spent with Madden 22 I haven't played a football game since PS3.
