Does anyone know what the typical cost is to install a charger in your house? I wonder if there are electricians who specialize in that? I see neighbors with cables snaking out of their garage.. it tends to look kind of lame, but I am not sure if there is a way around that (other than, I guess, not filling your garage with slickdeals and actually parking in your garage...).
Most people pay under $1k with some states offering rebate on the cost of installation + equipment cost. Easiest case will be the cheapest where you already have 240 V in the area where you'll be charging and only need a receptacle to be installed. Most expensive is needing to upgrade your sub panel and having to run the wires far away from it.
Mine does. Lot of bad actors or a few with multiple accounts here posting untruths. Pretty sad
Tesla has a indicator on the center screen that glows red...it's not a solid/flashing light on the side mirrors like every other manufacturer.
When I'm switching lanes, I look left or right because that's where I'm going. Looking at the center screen takes my eyes off the road, and gives me little confidence. It's a terrible system and a complete fail, IMHO.
Maybe it works for you, but no other Tesla driver I've met (and I live in LA...land of Teslas) likes it.
And there is no Sirius...it's an app that uses the internet (not satellite), and lacks many of the features that it has on my Subaru...I'd just as soon stream via Bluetooth from my Sirius phone app.

From someone who actually owns a '25 M3 and not a Subaru, you're wrong.
Blind Spot Indicator: The 2024 Model 3 (which carries over to 2025) features a new blind spot indicator located near the A-pillar, closer to the driver-side mirror. It illuminates a red light when a vehicle is in the car's blind spot. This is in addition to an on-screen blind spot notification and blind spot camera view.

I can't speak to Sirius because I don't use it. Satelite radio is horrible quality so I would always prefer streaming it if I had it.
I just picked up an old tesla 3 . 2019 Long range. 50k driven for 20k. Got 4k federal rebate on top and had enhanced driving etc. Frankly love it for the price. 1% or 0% doesn't matter but buying a new ev is financial disaster. Lease it if you want to

Its a fact that the used tesla market is a buyers market, so many consumers have been trying to get rid of their teslas. of course with such high depreciation, buying new is a suckers game.

Obviously you've never driven one but find it necessary to comment about it.
Right now you can lease a Chevy Equinox/Blazer for a song...people are reporting one pay leases that work out to $100/month, which is crazy!
FWIW, I love my Tesla 3...though the lack of Carplay, Sirius and lack of Blind Side Assist in the rear view mirrors needs to be addressed.
