I've been on the hunt for a better home espresso experience, and after trying a few options, I finally settled on the Breville Barista Express. As an avid coffee drinker, this is the machine I use at home. Saw that it was on sale so wanted to share this!

Love it too! Bought this same machine from Macy's a year ago for the same price. Haven't made a bad cup of espresso since then -- pressure gauge is super helpful and grind settings are good! Only things I wish for are 1. a bigger water exhaust pan, as I find myself emptying it every 3-days and 2. the beans sometimes get stuck in the intake/grinder... but nothing a little love tap doesn't fix.

I've owned this for about 18 months. It's saved so much money since I'm no longer making daily runs to the coffee shop at breakfast time for my wife and I. For us, this paid for itself in a month and a half. My only gripe is that I wish the steam wand was more powerful so that it didn't take as long to froth the milk.

That's right, it isn't as powerful and takes a moment to start frothing... but I've used this time and hacked my routine by using this time gap to fill the froth pitcher [with milk and vanilla syrup] and stir a few times before frothing... maybe it's not powerful enough but it feels like it made my routine more efficient haha
