I was doing a beta tests for these headphones for Baseus.

They are amazing at this price point.
Extremely comfortable
Sound quality (be sure that the Bass Boost option is on in the app)
Call quality
Physicals button - useful for runs/bike etc
Battery life

I compared it with others like Anker, 1more, Amazfit etc.

Hands down, you can't go wrong with them.

(BTW non sponsored post - just personal opinion)

7 of the 10 most recent reviews were from unverified purchases. Fakespot review gave it an F and the company a D. Buyer beware.

Well you just listen to normal music. I've tried bone conduction headphones and they're alright, just not good for podcast. By the reviews, they should be better than those.

I think most people here are shills since there are only 100 reviews on the product site and supposedly like 20 of them here. I have 2 baseus chargers and they're good and all, but so sketchy how they seem on slickdeals.

So im not a shill and i do use these... I have never received money or free products from baseus. I've had warranty claims on a battery bank and they took care of me by sending a replacement after a bad amazon review, not sure if that counts. I get the accusation though, so many "fake" reviewers out there, I'm just not one of them.

Got these on the last deal. I have a lot of headphones; these are perfect for me jogging and listening to music while still being able to hear my surroundings, for a fraction of the Beats version, these are great.

I have both.
The Pop sound better in my opinion, especially in higher volume (not an audiophile). They also slightly lighter and more comfortable to wear (for me). The Soundpeats app is more refined but it requires data to use which can be annoying. The case for MC1 is thinner and it's much easier to open. Both have a physical buttons. I didn't compare the call quality.

I'm returning the MC1 and keeping the Pop because single click button function can't be customized with the MC1 and the MC1 cost $40 vs the $30 Pop.

The Soundpeats PearlClip are ~$30 on Aliexpress right now. They're much better than both the Pop and MC1 but have touch controls which I hate.

You guys shilled me. I'm a fool for buying baseus after getting scammed on their power bank recall. Returning these. These worse than soundpeats one and those aren't really good either.

I've been using these for a little over a week now, to listen to podcasts at work. For that purpose, these are great. For reference, I used the Galaxy Buds Live for 2 years, but they'd end up falling out eventually. More recently, I've been using the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which have excellent sound, but those fall out too. I've also used (and returned) the Soundcore C40i, Shockz OpenFit 2, and Bose Ultra Open. I'm keeping the Baseus Bowie MC1.

Pros: Comfort and security are really the reasons to consider this style of earbud. You're not going to get excellent audio quality; you're going to get good enough quality, and that's OK if you have the right expectations. The MC1s are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used. They're also the most secure fit - I've never felt like they're going to fall off.

Cons: The loop around the ear is a little big, but I suppose it has to be too accommodate for various ear sizes. Sound leakage could be a problem. I use the Galaxy S25 Ultra and if I turn the volume up halfway, leakage starts to become noticeable, though it's still unintelligible in a quiet room at that level.

Neutral: The mic is fine. It's just fine. It's not going to win any awards for noise isolation, but it's serviceable. And like I said before, don't buy these for audio quality - that's not what these are for.

In the future, I'd like to see Baseus improve the directionality of the speaker so that it's angled more toward the ear canal, which will help with sound leakage and should also provide better audio quality. But for comfort and security, I don't know if you'll find better earbuds, especially at this price (I got these on sale for $40).

Absolutely agree. It's always the new out of the blue companies that first appear on this site. Ugreen, ravpower, now baseus

Yes, CCP when banned, just rename and go again. UGREEN for instance, chips used in USB NW adapters suspected of back feed to CCP intelligence, Zoom 80% CCP employees but our US government, CyberSec companies using to plan blocks for…TikTok (regardless of whether US buyer or not) already replaced by RedNote (an homage to Mau and his killing of 100 million people) and purchaser would be in competition with the thousands of CCP phone 📱/ bot 🤖 farms telling folks then how bad TikTok was and how they shouid switch to Xi's RedNote, just like CCP did when Music.ly shuttered by all the parental child exploitation lawsuits… Baseus and Anker and Xaomi and Huwaei couid all be in same mfg. plants for all we know. Hard to trust anything CCP when proxy wars to destroy US for decades, there's even a book 📕 in China 🇨🇳 about it by two former PLA air officers that no means or methods are off the table or too extreme in the goal to take down the west. Why I stopped using Dealnews b/c seemed they were just pushing mostly CCP controlled Alibaba/AliExpress deals - same that was ordered to start and fund $200 billion annually LG..specifically T propaganda when all the Trans ⚧️ drugs CCP produced and science 🧪 shows makes the crazy 🤪 crazier (control).
Why do we keep funding CCP that means our country and our way of life is destroyed?'!? Guilty hypocrite here (suppliers) profits over people? #SaveCCPpersecutedChinesePeople #SaveCommunistPersecutedPeopleGroups from concentration and re-education camps.

I just returned it within days after used for listening music.
To me, this one is around $10 valued earbud. YES, it is kind of comfy to wear it, but that's all about it. Sound Quality is muted and dull. I would keep it if it is $10, but for $40, nope.

I got these last time because my Sony Linkbuds had some kind of firmware update that killed one of the bud's battery life. Not cool when my left bud drops from 100% to 10% in an hour. I have a lot of trouble with ear buds that fit inside of the ear canals. These hold onto the ear better than Linkbuds and doesn't bend the ear if that makes any sense. It lightly clips onto the back of the ear. These sound ok. Nothing special and they work. Down side was that it is set to the normal audio profile that is a bit laggy if you pair it with a game console. You can change it to low latency with the Baseus app.

these sound bearable .. nowhere near great

I have the wraparound shokz ones and those sound terrible so I guess this is a slight upgrade.

transparency mode / ambient noise mode beats all these by far.

The shilling is so bad here. Thankfully, I've learned how to spot it. Real deals are rare now.
