There's also a version rust includes the DLC (not sure if it's on the disc or not), called Anniversary Edition. It's $35 on Amazon.

If you're the kind of person who wants the ultimate version, the one here might not be your version.

FYI - It's also available as a free app for Netflix subscribers if you don't mind playing on a phone or tablet. I've played it on iPad paired with a PS4 controller.

Wrong. This is about buying the game, to own forever. Game Pass is a rental at best, that can be pulled at any time.

A lot of people think game pass is permanent. My 9 year old nephew has gamepass and asked why I bought some physical games that he 'already had'. I explained why and he was grateful

Physical copy is the best deal.
Subscriptions are just that. Temporary rentals.

You need ultimate addition in order to have all the DLC. Don't buy this version because DLC cost extra
