Yeah, I'm not gonna say it's okay for Amazon to put all these garbage ads on the Fire stick. It really makes the experience sluggish. But what's the alternative? The built in apps on my LG, Roky, and Sony TV also have ads and is also very slow. A $160 Apple TV? Yikes, you're going to compare that thing to $25 dongle! I have one of these things on all 3 of my TV's for less than half that.

I also have an offer for 20% off when I trade in a device. I've always had this and never used it so not sure if it's a one time use or if it's an offer they always run.

Good deal, but the MAX is 16gb, and those devices currently can not record when using an OTG adapter when using an IPTV service. If you have more questions about this, just ask.

Sounds like they should give these away with all the people who complain about bloatware and ads everywhere. I really wanted one but it sounds like an inconvenience.

Got rid of all of my fire sticks in the last few months the ads won't go away and it is just a really poor experience and sluggish responsive times. I went with an Apple TV and could not have been happier it's day versus night..

I don't mind the garbage. What I do mind is that playing my own files crashes the crap stick when DolbyVision engages, at least on LGs. To trash it goes.

We have both Apple TV and fire stick I generally like the fire stick experience more. Apple TV seems more simple and basic. Also it's restrictive on apps ie no Xbox cloud gaming app.

I was just thinking the same thing. Haven't noticed any garbage, at least no more than the Roku.
I got rid of my Rokus because the remotes were super sensitive and kept changing the TV input with the slightest touch . The fire sticks have been so much better and can also control the volume on my receiver, which the Roku could not.
