I got the flex 5i with Intel core 5 and 8gb ram for 329.99. Is it worth the 170 to upgrade to this? How does the snapdragon compare to intel, and what are the pros and cons? TIA

Anyone tried Xbox cloud gaming on the ARM?

Seems to check all the boxes for me except for the 60hz display.

It's on the cloud. There should be no difference at all vs x86. That's the benefit of running games on the cloud.

It was a great deal for $329.99. I have an XPS as my daily rider for main purpose of work. This second PC is one that I don't have to babysit if it gets passed around. Do you know if it is worth paying the extra 170 for this ARM style?

I have the Microsoft Surface X Pro which has the original ARM chip. Not all software run on ARM chip especially with Topaz photo AI and photo editing apps. Most other ones works fine. Check to see if any of your programs that you use will work on ARM.

Is this a good budget laptop if I generally just use it for browsing online and YouTube? I'm coming from an Asus Chromebook that is starting to slow down a bit while using the internet. TIA!

This will be night & day compared to an Asus Chromebook. This is an excellent computer based on the specs. The only reason these are so cheap is because they're using ARM instead of Inte/AMD which shouldn't affect you in the least based on your use case, and will help with battery life and heat.

When you get it, come back and tell us what you think of it. I'd get one myself if I hadn't bought an XPS recently.

Costco looks to have the same model (https://www.costco.com/.product.4000305603.html), currently for $699 which I thought a good deal last night when I ordered. I may need to buy a second and return one.

IF you stay within the Microsoft apps sandbox - office, edge, teams, outlook - you'll be be ok.

Do anything outside that and you'll encounter things like fortnite not running or obs having trouble with the camera.
