Thanks to Community Member bold.year8846 for finding this deal.

Available Options:
  • LCD Model
    • 512GB $359
All Certified Refurbished Steam Decks include:
  • The same one year warranty as a new Steam Deck (unless longer as determined by your country of residence)
  • A refurbished power supply - fully tested (may have minor cosmetic marks)
  • Carrying case and Quick Start guide
Features:
  • Portability meets power. We partnered with AMD to create Steam Deck's custom APU, optimized for handheld gaming. It is a Zen 2 + RDNA 2 powerhouse, delivering more than enough performance to run the latest AAA games in a very efficient power envelope.
  • Your Steam Library, anywhere. Once you've logged into Steam Deck, your entire Steam Library shows up, just like any other PC. You'll also see the compatibility rating of each game, indicating the kind of experience you can expect when playing. You can dynamically filter any view in your library by compatibility rating if you're looking for specific sorts of experiences.
  • Control with comfort. The Steam Deck was built for extended play sessions—whether you're using thumbsticks or trackpads—with full-size controls positioned perfectly within your reach. The rear of the device is sculpted to comfortably fit a wide range of hand sizes.

Get this before tariffs kick in. 😞 Valve is already absorbing a lot of the cost, but how much more can they take on?

Seems like only a lucky few get these drops. I caved last week and got a 512GB OLED that was practically brand new and still has warranty for $450 after trying for hours to add a refurb to my cart and check out. It is an awesome device but wider than it looks in pictures. It's 12" wide and I thought it would be suitable for the train on my commute but it's probably too big to take outside of the house. I love that I can work through my huge backlog with this because I find less and less time to play games on my PC with family etc these days

After retrying for like 50 times, I was able to purchase a 1TB OLED just now.

Got a 1TB Ally with the Z1 EXTREME chipset for $375 on fb marketplace. YMMV but definitely worth checking out local listings

Amen, anytime someone recommends FB marketplace I laugh at how unreliable (and risky) it is. Makes Craiglist look like a legit business platform in comparison. You'll have days and multiple trips trying to meet flakes just to save $25 over Best Buy open box prices.

Yeah normally I only deal with offerup because I am not sure about FB marketplace, offerup has a feedback and user rating indicator so I deal with people that have some feedback, 70% of the time I have success if I had to guess. Also to keep it less sketchy I only meet up at police stations since almost all of them now have parking spots called online/marketplace transaction zones so they are in front of the station with a camera watching over them, so dont even have to go inside. I refuse to go to someone's home unless its a piece of furniture for obvious reasons.

Agreed completely, especially coming (or them coming) to homes.

Never tried offerup but will look into it, thanks.

I was a bit of a crappy customer. I impulse-purchased one but decided I didn't want to spend the money at the moment. I requested the return fully aware I'd be charged a restocking fee as I had received the box on-hand, or at least that I'd have to pay for shipping. Valve sent me a shipping label at no cost to me and was super helpful and responsive. I was shocked. Not a lot of pro-consumer companies out there. Makes me wanna spend more money with them lol

Was never able to place an order. Do not know why they put this up like that. Total waste of time.

Valve is notoriously pro consumer. Hell, buy any game and play it for less than 2 hours and they'll refund you (within 2 weeks of purchase). There is supposedly a limit to this but to my knowledge no human has ever hit that threshold.

*FWIW, I try not to abuse the feature, only doing so when a game I feel is misdescribed, broken, or doesn't work as promised on the Steam Deck.

I love how fast these threads go from saying this is horrible outdated electronics to it's out of stock and I can't buy it.

I love my Steam Deck, by the way.

Nintendo Switch 2 is around the corner. More sales like this are expected.

I haven't built a gaming PC in a number of years because of the Steam Deck. I have it docked to my TV and play with an Xbox controller for most games. I do dig out the keyboard and mouse for a few things, but the controller is nice and easy and works well with many games.

The deck has been solid. It runs all my games. I used to be obsessed with frame rates and maxing out settings so it would look good on my PC. Today, I have kids, family, a job, and other hobbies. You don't worry about specs and maxing out setting with something like this. You just play games. This makes playing PC games easy. You load them up and they run. Love my Steam Deck.
