Product of USA, for those who prefer that over garlic imported from China.

EDIT: After receiving this product, it is labeled "Product of China, India, USA" so it is NOT the same product as listed or shown in the Amazon description. There is also no Kosher certification, as was also described in the Amazon listing.

First photo is from Amazon listing. Second photo shows actual product label.

Does "product" indicate that? An iPhone is a product of the USA, it's made in China.

Good Question. I assume that "Product of U.S.A." means it was grown in the U.S. versus "Packaged in USA" or "Processed in U.S.A." which means it's produce from elsewhere and only repackaged in the U.S.

EDIT:. For example, the Happy Belly "Granulated Garlic" is labeled as "Product of China. Packaged in USA."
EDIT2: The actual Amazon Minced Garlic turns out to be "Product of China, India, USA."

I think the iPhone is officially labeled or described as "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China" – almost all iPhones are assembled in China (some in Vietnam and India, though those may have very limited final "assembly" there while most is still done in China). I don't think any iPhone is labeled as "Product of U.S.A."

And I'd also note that while it's assembled in China none of the significant components are made in China. Processor is made in Taiwan, memory in Japan, gyroscope in Switzerland, glass and touchscreen controller in US, and so on.

If I recall correctly, the house brand "Spice Supreme" granulated garlic or garlic powder at Grocery Outlet--in either the small or large containers--is labeled as Product of China. I am not sure if the minced garlic is also labeled that way. If the same price, I would still prefer the Happy Belly "Minced Garlic" in this SD deal, which is labeled "Product of USA."

EDIT: Online, I see Spice Supreme Minced Garlic described as Made in USA. After checking online photos, the Spice Supreme Garlic Powder is also labeled "Made in USA."

EDIT 2: The online photo is an old label. Someone will have to check how the current stock is labeled.

EDIT 3: Minced Garlic currently in Grocery Outlet stores is labeled "Made in USA" and the label looks like the online version.

Just received this and I did NOT receive the "Happy Belly Minced Garlic" Product of USA item but an "Amazon Grocery Minced Garlic" labeled "Product of China, India, USA." See photo.

I would say that if they advertise Happy Belly Minced Garlic, "Product of USA", that is not the same as "Product of China, India, USA."

Will I return it? If I find that the Grocery Outlet minced garlic is Made in USA, I probably will return the Amazon product.

As someone who normally gets granulated, do you all find that minced tastes better cooked into food, sprinkled on food, repelling vampires, etc? Ty

Only fresh garlic works to repel vampires.shake head Minced may be better when added into sauces or for longer cooks or when you really want to taste more flavor and texture of the garlic, while granulated/powdered may be preferred for adding at the end.

I don't have access to my Amazon Minced that is labeled "Product of China, India, USA" but will check the UPC and "Best Before" date on Saturday when I can get to it again. My bottle was shipped from California.
