He Who Fights with Monsters
Andy Serkis reading Lord of the Rings/Hobbit is great.
and I've been meaning to try The First Law (by Joe Ambercrombie)
But I'll vouch for the other recommendations that were made here, though.
Bobiverse if you're into sci-fi.
He Who Fights with Monsters if you're into LitRPG.
You can never go wrong with anything Brando Sando.

On the positive side - The author does a great job of keeping the thrill-factor consistently high. And the humor is pretty good. Every book had at least one laugh-out loud moment. The characters are good and if you are a fan of space operas, you'll definitely live this series.
On the negative side — The time investment for these series is huge! Each one is a relatively long book, and the series is already 18 books deep with a couple more to come. I do love the series, but I can't help but wish it were shorter. The series was supposed to end at book 16. But the author decided to continue the story for 3 or 4 more books. Series with that many books is not a problem for ones like the Reacher or Bosch series. Those books are only loosely connected and you can really pick up just any one and enjoy. You don't really have to read them all or even in order. But this series continues the story and you have to read them in order. At some point the volume of work becomes so daunting that it's uninviting to a new person.
I myself read till book 7 (including the novella) and then had to take a break. Will definitely finish the series. Have them all in my audible library, and the next book on pre-order. But I'll finish a few shorter series first between jumping back in. Or maybe wait till the series is truly over.
*Assuming Amazon doesn't suddenly decide you don't really own them**
** They are DRM protected, so you either need an Audible compatible player (the Audible app is pretty good) or you need an app that can remove the DRM.
