To all the stupid comments about "so many launchers/yet another launcher" etc etc: you don't need to download any launcher to play games from itch.io.

I do not know about itch but between Steam, Amazon, GOG, Epic and Indiegala I think I am in enough game portals already.

Or at least this game does not look interesting enough to join another.

You could combine some of those with https://heroicgameslauncher.com/ - Amazon, GOG and Epic

Linux user can use lutris - I mention it only because Lutis supports more including itch.io . you do not need to install anything for this, but it is nice to not even to visit a website to browse your games

itch.io serves a different kind of market then those large distributors

Your anti-virus may just block all .io links since they aren't standard .com/.net/.org/.gov that's a settings flag not a virus issue.
