Worth an upgrade from Series 7? Only thing that I don't like about my 7 is the talk to text is really slow, other than that it works fine. The thinner design sounds nice, also the jet black looks cool. Double tap could be useful maybe. Any advice?

For me, yes. When I go out and work on the property, or for a run, I leave my phone inside the house and I can still make and receive calls.

Besides calls can i access same apps that I do on Apple watch. Like internet access? I think tmobile charges like $12-15 for apple watch data plan. Also the next apple watch comes out in September so I wonder if waiting for updated model is better

Seeking education: this slickdeal is for purchasing the watch on Amazon. How do Instacart Gift Cards come into play here? And also Costco Sameday? Is this because you're buying at Costco and saying this is cheaper than the Amazon deal?

If adding to a postpaid plan, T-mobile has a $7/month plan with a 500MB cap, which for me covers Siri, iMessage, maps, etc. on a few sans-phone runs a week if music is mostly synced. Unlimited data is $12, I believe. (Both prices are with autopay discount, and used to be $5 and $10 respectively before we found out last year that T-mobile's price guarantees are worthless lies.)
