I just did that upgrade today. Series 3 gps+cell 42mm to series 10 gps 42mm. I can't speak to the difference in fitness features, but the watch itself is so much lighter/thinner and feels better on the wrist because it's a lot less boxy. The screen is much brighter and visiblr outside. I haven't drained the battery yet but if the rapid charge is as fast as the specs say that's also a huge upgrade. The OS is a few versions newer and much more snappy/usable.

I had to get a new one because I was only getting ~12 hours per charge on the series 3. I don't regret going for the 10 at this sale price over a slightly cheaper 9/8/7 etc.

Personally the S10 is worth the $50. I have a S9 and tried on a S10 in store and it just feels and looks so much thinner. And the jet black looks amazing. Reminds me of my jet black iPhone 7 back in the day

This is a major upgrade from a Series 3. My friend (who also had a Series 3) just got it yesterday and says it's a huge difference in how it feels and works. Mine is coming next week and is replacing my Series 3 as well.

The other day the monitor i bought just a few days back got its price dropped $20 more. I chatted with amazon and asked them if they could give me the $20 extra off to match and they did.

Looks like the Target deal is dead. They have the watch listed for regular MSRP and only a $10 coupon.

10 is thinner, but 9 I got from Walmart last week has an active oxygen sensor, which I really like. It's disabled on all 10's (lawsuit).

Can you make phone calls with this? I presume only with the cellular. Does one have to get a separate cell number for the watch from the cell phone owned? Does it have a fall alarm?

Need cell version to use watch by itself as phone, but can use your existing cell number. And yes on fall detection..all from the 4 forward have.
