In other words, you're not going to get a surprise tariff bill after you've already made the purchase. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and this is changing.
edit: I am not sure with the tariffs on and tariffs off again, rinse and repeat. But normally items from China under $800 did not need to pay a fee, this is something that is or set to be removed. The new minimum custom fee to be added from packages from China is supposed to be $32.71 + tariff. So once everything is officially "set" anything from China, even a $1 item will have a $31.71 + tariff to pay to get the package. I could be mistaken but I have been keeping tabs on it for work and this is how I understand it.
