Only has the 4 seasons. No Peackeapers war.
Personally I don't see anything especially weird with the aspect ratio.

I'll probably pick this up on FaH because I've been in a classic sci-fi kick lately.
- There is a blu-ray release for this, but it's an SD upscale. An SD stream upscaled by your streaming device (TV, Roku, etc.) may warrant the same results, it may not.
- This does not seem to include The Peacekeeper Wars miniseries - it's included in the incredibly expensive Shout Factory box set, and has a standalone release in Germany, but for some reason seems to continually be treated as a separate entity from the main series. Also, the German BD seems to be of poor quality, but I can't find anything in terms of the SF release if it's any better. People say the streaming (Amazon Prime specifically?) release of this is the best version, but nonetheless you won't get it in this bundle.
Saying all of that, if you are okay with the missing miniseries and can live with the SD streaming quality rather than a BD upscale, go for it. The series regardless is well worth watching.- There is a blu-ray release for this, but it's an SD upscale. This is a classic, but I've only ever seen it in 4:3 standard definition. Fandango streams it 16:9, still standard definition, and it's the worst viewing experience of my life.
I felt motion sick from the first 5 minutes, which have virtually no motion. Characters look 3x width, comically impossible. But the worst is just simple dialogue, close cuts back and forth between two characters focusing on one's face. The stretching makes you feel way, way too close with not nearly enough space and my eyes couldn't even focus, physically painful.
This is partly due to my tv settings. I found a picture/aspect ratio setting deep in the menus, and switching from "auto" to "direct" was a marginal improvement. It's maybe 10% less stretchy which alleviated my pain but it's still hard to focus, comically wide, and a little too close. I sat through commercials on Tubi to watch the first episode on demand there and it's, to my eye, an infinitely better experience in 4:3.
I've never had this complaint in my life and I'm sure not the expert on resolution or aspect ratio. Buyer beware though, this might not be how you want to watch this classic.
