I have purchased this flashlight twice. It comes with one rechargeable battery (18650 3.7v 2600mah)
it also has an adapter that allows 3 AAA batteries to be used. The three AAA batteries were not included
it runs a little warm, its a nice flashlight overall.

I have the same flashlight. It's definitely MICRO USB. Not mini usb as others mentioned. There's a difference

It's confusing how the listing is written. I interpret it as not including the 3 AAA batteries, but including a built-in lithium-ion battery. In this image I'm attaching below, there's an asterisk for "batteries not included" next to the text about AAAs, but not next to the Li-ion.

I read that as NO batteries included.

Farther down under TECHNICAL DETAILS, it shows batteries included 3 times. However, it says batteries not included 2 times at the asterisk and top, so it's you choice - yes or no.

Includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery and micro USB cable. Can also use 3x AAA batteries, but those are not included.

If you don't know the difference between mini- and micro-USB, maybe you're not the best to judge the value of USB-C

Unreal there is so much confusion around the "batteries" when there is an image that explains and depicts this flashlights power source.

Agreed there is nothing 'wrong' with mini usb but I think many of us have moved on to USB C for everything from laptops to cell phones. Worst case though you can use an adapter or swap cables for charging.

Excuse me, she said my usb was "above average."

I've had great luck with energizer rechargeable flashlights but this one was a total dud. It died in a week with only a few uses. Battery isn't removable. No idea what the issue is.
