If you don't need a heavy duty transformer, this one is rated up to 250W (and should be sufficient as a converter for most personal electronics or things like 110V-only electric toothbrushes and other low-wattage personal care items:

Even if you need to carry two sets of plug adapters (say you are going to the UK and 'Europe' proper) the multiple adapters should take up less room.
No extension cord though. Again, not a bad deal but especially with the 20w USB this really limits its own usefulness.

It can connect to many types of outlets and many plugs for devices, with USB ports as well.
This is a great idea, but think about what you need first.

This is not just bad but outright dangerous device! Grounding exists for a reason - and it's been dropped and then faked with this contraption.
Then, on top, it simulates polarized US plugs (one is thin and one is thick for live and neutral) - except it allows you to plug the EU plug backwards (as in EU they are not polarized). In this instance the US plug should use two thin non-polarized connectors (so that you could not plug a device that expects a polarized/correctly-wired outlet).
Plugging this contraption the wrong way may literally kill someone!
BUT you cannot use that for anything that only uses 110V when you are in Europe!
