Not seeing it at that price in zone 6..It's always a good idea if you are buying multiples to check one bag before you buy any more, Miracle-Gro has a very bad habit of not checking their suppliers product and you may end up with mulch instead of soil, they do guarantee your money back but it's a PITA, been through it twice now.

Abetter choice would be top soil, this will just disappear into your lawn.

YMMV but I couldn't grow my usual lettuce and cilantro with Costco's organic soil. When I switched back to this brand from HD everything was growing again. Zone 9 here.

It is the same brand, but the organic one has a slower release of fertilizer. Fast growing crops may not like it.

FYI. The breakeven price for 0.75 cu ft is $1.875 when compared to buying better quality soil locally sourced. In other words local soil purchase incl. truck charges will get you better quality and cheaper soil.

If you are new to local soil delivery start with 4 Cubic Yard should cost a total of $150 to $250 incl. delivery depending on where you live.
