Never going to happen, until 256 is the minimum. All they have to do is use slower NAND and bump capacity. However, doing so means fewer will pay for cloud storage.

Buy phone $329 + 5G+ plan $65 = $394.
Transfer phone # from another provider.
I can use the phone for 1 month with plan included.
Do not buy any more plans.
Wait 60 days and it will Unlock?

What about the AutoPay?

The big thing about the 16e, for all its shortcomings, is it's the first to use the new battery tech. Battery life, to a lot of people, is all that matters. Couple that with the processor means people will be able to use their phone for plenty of years to come.
