Never going to happen, until 256 is the minimum. All they have to do is use slower NAND and bump capacity. However, doing so means fewer will pay for cloud storage.

I don't like how you have to port this one. Unlike the Straight Talk deal, you'd get a new number. Not to mention the A16 cheap and a 6 GB RAM. I have an iPhone 15 for work and just received my new 16e, and the performance difference is night and day. Only advantage you would get with the 15 is 2000 nit brightness and a better camera lens.

What performance differences are you noticing? The iPhone 15 is only a 1 ½ year old phone, it really shouldn't be that bad if the 16e a remarkable improvement

It's actually a pretty decent improvement performance-wise, I have both and the 16e is noticeably snappier.
If you take ultra wide photos and want a better screen, get the 15. If you want a device that will last 5 years, get the 16e.

You will also notice that you get better signal coverage with the 16e if you live in an area with a spotty signal. It looks like Apple implemented a software change for the 16e to alternate between LTE and 5G quickly due to having an inferior C1 modem. Whereas the iPhone 15 will always try to force connect to a 5G signal several times before switching to the LTE.

Has anyone noticed 16e bluetooth loses connectivity frequently? My CGM ( Glucose monitor, which uses bluetooth connectivity) loses signal every 15 minutes and CGM app's alarms on phone (16e) keeps beeping for lost signal! May be new Apple modem is the problem? my older 6SE was working beautifully with the same CGM!
