Question: do you simply throw these in with towels, if one of them has gunk on it? For example I am trying to figure out the best process for cleaning my microfiber towels but they usually have chemicals like window cleaner that I'd rather not mix in with my regular towels

I just throw them in the dishwasher top rack... Wring out and they are good

But then you get whatever is on them on the dishes 😬 I suppose I could just clean the dirty dirty ones with dish soap first lol

These things are great. Use a new one every day and then just wash them in the laundry weekly. I just air dry mine. I've been on the same roll of paper towels for 6 months lol

I split mine up into two categories; just water, and then everything else. That way im not tracking germs and other particles all over, and can throw those in with laundry or dishwasher. The water ones i typically will clean in the sink with hot soapy water and then let them dry in the dish rack

Have enjoyed them so far, they're super weird and rigid until they are wetted. One weirdness about them is if you wash them in washer, instructions say to not dry them.

Have had a little trouble getting stains out of them though even after washing

I use small cotton towels for replacement for napkins, drying dishes, and essentially anything to replace napkins or paper towels. Then, I use microfiber towels for cleaning instead of paper towels. I have 2 different colors, one for wiping up spills and messes and another for bleach and cleaning chemicals.

To clean the towels, i rinse them out in the sink, make sure there isn't any food or anything in them and put them in a bin until it's large enough load to wash in the washing machine. Then I will wash them with a prewash cycle and then a quick wash cycle and they are really clean.

For my white towels as cloth napkins I'll bleach them from time to time.

Been doing that for over a decade now.

The only thing i use paper towels for, is cleaning up raw meat spills. I used to go thru a roll of paper towels every 3 to 4 days. Now I go thru a roll of paper towels about every month to every 3 months.

I know it is a lot but i hope this helps.
