I have these boots in brown and have used them for bouldering. They run true to size [or least they do for me]. They're waterproof and super comfortable. My only issue are laces... they're oddly longer than the shoe needs [or least they do for me].

I noticed the same thing, and always notice it on Timberland boots. Maybe because people wear them for fashion and leave them loose? But if you actually tie them, the laces are ridiculous.
