The real problem is they took out the Novamin. Which is still in foreign Sensodyne.

However Novamin has largely been replaced by Recaldent and nHAP.

I don't recommend flouride free toothpaste, which is common with nHAP. Recaldent is easier to get with flouride.

If all that is too expensive, go on Amazon and get Sensodyne with Novamin from abroad.

All three of these remineralize teeth. You have to keep doing it daily, but it can hold cavities at pre-filling levels for years.

Costco is $1/oz ($26 for 4 X 6.5 oz). This is $1.05/oz ($14.34 for 4 X 3.4 oz) if you get 5% off S&S. Or $0.92/oz ($12.55 for 4 X 3.4 oz) if you get 15% off S&S.

This one has SLS which causes canker sores for some people. The normal sensodyne doesn't contain SLS.

My hygienist told me this at my last cleaning and I was surprised too. She said some people have stated that it stained their teeth but others didn't. I didn't want to take that chance lol. I still use sensodyne just not this one

This is true when the fluoride is "stannous fluoride," which can stain teeth.

I avoid this one for that reason (canker sores) but never knew what it was that caused it. Thanks!
