I had about a month left on my previous deal. When I logged out and tried to sign up as a new account it wouldn't take, saying I already had an active account. I then cancelled my account (still active until next month) and changed my email to a throw away one. I then successfully signed up with the new promo using my old (existing) email. This kept my P+ watch history from being deleted and making me update all my Roku's etc. I then immediately tried to cancel the new account and was offered 3 more months for free which I took. Good until June 9, 2026 - hopefully P+ stay active the whole time.

If you check the earlier Sportsline deals, they also stated that Sportsline's site said 30 days, but people got longer.

It definitely said 30-days when I did the 7 month deal for $4.99.
I got Paramount+ and Showtime both ad-free for 7 months.

Just now went to cancel right after signup and got an extension for SL to June 2026 with the year sub

🤞Hoping P+ will be included for the whole length

I can't imagine they don't google themselves and realize what is going on. The only question is with this being "upfront money" with terms clearly stating only 30 days when will they decide to stop the free "mistake". Relying on generosity of big companies is just gambling the pyramid scheme won't collapse before you get enough benefit. That said if you weigh the risk/reward and the fact it has continued this long may be worth it to roll the dice. Just remember they decide if you win or lose.

I had about a month left on my previous deal. When I logged out and tried to sign up as a new account it wouldn't take, saying I already had an active account. I then cancelled my account (still active until next month) and changed my email to a throw away one. I then successfully signed up with the new promo using my old (existing) email. I had set a reminder to cancel my Sportsline subsription and when I log into the site to cancel, I can't even find a Cancel option under the My Account section.

When I apply the code the Paramount seems to be removed from the cart. I will reach out to their support because they have this language on their site:
SportsLine subscribers who pay full price for a subscription are eligible to receive a free Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscription. If you paid a promotional price or are on a free trial, you will not be eligible for a free Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscription until you are charged the normal, full amount for your SportsLine subscription.

Went to cancel my sub from last years offer that ends on the 17th March, they offered me 3 months extra for free so will be looking for a Paramount + offer at the middle of June now.

This worked for me, thanks!

Also, if anyone doesn't want to worry about setting up reminders or forgetting to cancel before renewal, just use privacy.com - sign up, then pause the card until next time. I've been using them for years for miscellaneous online purchases, pre-authorizations, subscriptions, etc with no issues.

Sign up for privacy.com, create a merchant locked card and use it to pay for the deal, then immediately after pause the card until next renewal. I've been doing this with subscriptions and all kinds of online purchases for years.
