I have this, it's a very lightweight plastic. and my iPad doesn't fit the slot with a case on.

Bought one also, due to the low price, and actually love it! I went back and bought a 2nd with another account

The fact that it's super lightweight is a plus to me (coming from many of the bulky, heavy aluminum or metal stands). I was worried it might slide around on a desk with use, but the rubber feet keep it in place. I love the fact it can adjust to so many angles (and hold in place, not slipping to tilt further).

I don't have an ipad, but I have used it with my phone (Pixel 6 w/ case), my Amazon fire tablets (7" and 10", no cases) and even my Wacom tablet.. It also looks decent, considering the price. Much better quality than I expected. I was very happy with it for my use cases
