I have a pair of these. They are nice pliers, but keep in mind that they are 6" pliers. These are not going to work for plumbing or most car repair work. Standard vice-grip pliers are 10 inches. Here's picture of these pliers next to a pair of 10" pliers

Thanks for the picture comparison that makes me want them even more. I have plenty of big pliers. I'm trying to get more small stuff to work with.

These are easily worth the price. Similar to Knipex Cobras in function, but not equivalent. I find the handles a little flexy - but great for leaving in the truck. Great value - a lot of the knipex cobra functionality at a fraction of the cost.

Great deal! Now I can loan these to my less handy brother in law and leave knipex safe at home.

Project Farm test of this style of pliers. Other than the first test, the Irwin didn't do too well. And as others have said, note that this is a dinky little 6" pliers.

Don't be such a size queen. 6" is plenty to get any job done.

I have this exact one and also a slightly smaller Knipex to compare. It's not as good as the Knipex, but for the price it's quite good. This one focuses more on grabbing things with the tip rather than the whole jaw and the teeth doesn't grip nearly as much for turning things. I also doubt it is as resistant as the Knipex, I like to use it as a substitute for regular pliers in small projects because of the tip.
