Use all the time never has it ruined any glasses
Don't listen to person fear mongering
Today, Im to cheap to buy these. i rinse my lenses off in warm water to get rid of abrasive dust and then use a little bit of clear hand soap diluted with water and then wipe off with my cotton t-shirt in the morning

I'll do the same in public restrooms if there's a non scented foaming soap 🧼 and dry them with the hand dryer.
Buying wipes for your glasses and phone is just excessive. Just use a screen protector on your phone and wipe in on your pants
They only make microscope and camera lens. Clearly, they know nothing.
