Good timing. Old unit that is no longer supported is giving me grief. Time to replace. Ty!

Thanks, in for a spare. 1 year warranty directly from Roku is reassuring.

May have to start using this since Roku TV's with the built in OS have issues playing Netflix movies randomly, locked at loading at 24%

Anyone know if this version of the remote will allow playback of HDHomeRun streams?

There's a particular configuration for audio to let the sound come thru. Old Rokus can't do it.

I'm not sure about that, but anything you're watching on the Roku stick can be listened on wireless headphones or wireless earbuds(or wired) via your phone through the Roku app

This is still available as of 31-March. Thanks for sharing! It is time to retire a very old fire stick that the kids have been complaining about.

The remote is worth that price.

Roku is starting to push more aggressive ads. I'd spend more elsewhere

The price new has been this many times. I guess you get the warranty, but all Roku Sticks are known to have over heating issues and I've experienced it on several. I bought the latest Roku Ultra (2024 version) and I'm in shock how slow it is compared to my Walmart Onn Ultra player or whatever they call the thing that can be had daily for $50 and had gone to $40 a few times. I no longer can recommend Roku as they're slower than slow and the ads have gotten ridiculous.

I'll add my wife likes Roku and hates Android TV for whatever reason and the TV in the family room she wanted a Roku so that's the reason and the only reason I upgraded my Roku Stick to the Ultra. The Ultra is much better than the Stick, but much slower than the Onn player.

Roku has started putting video ads on the main screen before you can even choose an app to open. It's almost like they are copying the ad supported fire tablets where you are forced to view an ad before using it. It seems they are trying to make more ad revenue and don't think people have any other options. Ready to give the Onn device a try

I actually bought this rather than a replacement remote - only $5 more (and that pesky missing remote is going to turn up the minute I replace it!)
