I have the p30i, which is the Airpod style. Sound is adequate enough. Voice is good, music is ok. There are EQ settings that can help based on your preference.
Noise cancelling is decent, but not total. There is lag in gaming, especially for games like COD:M, but slow or idle games should be ok. There is a gaming mode you can turn on.
For $15 bucks, these are good for a back-up pair, but I don't use them as my daily device.
I 100% disagree. Anker has been in business for 14 years. They do over $22 Billion in business. Billion with a B. I don't know how you define a brand vs. no brand but Anker today is a legitimate brand sold not only at Amazon but at Bestbuy, Kohls, Target...etc. Now strong push at tiktok marketplace. All my purchases have been excellent. Also, Eufy is their sub brand. I am sure most of you know this brand as well.

Can anyone speak to the call quality on these? Also I noticed that Amazon had a warning that this was a high frequency returned item.

These have been at this or similar prices for a little bit. Apparently there may be some QC issues causing them to go dead pretty quickly which is why they're frequently returned.
I purchased the p30i instead and they seem fine for "budget" Bluetooth ear buds. Then again these are $15, so just temper expectations given what you paid for these.

I wonder if Anker stands behind their warranty or not. Seems the last few years they've become really bad handling any problems.

I don't have these in particular but I had one of their previous pro line buds (Liberty Pro 3). They sounded great and calls were surprisingly good. They were my daily go to's. But after about one year they don't last more than 1h, even with all the bells and whistles turned off. Anker spends a lot in basically bribing ppl into talking up their products. You will notice it when five different reviews bring up the same exact highlights. Id recommend taking reviews with a grain of salt, and expect them to last about one year. For $15, that's not bad.

I cannot but you don't buy a $15 set and expect everything. I was disappointed with the headphones I bought last year from Costco. They came with great reviews and used them twice for music when I gifted them to a friend in the hospital. He then used them briefly for work on Zoom where they were horrible. I then gave him an older Sennheuser set I had and he enjoyed them for both music and work during his lengthy disability in the hospital and rehab. Anker is great for accessories but my experience (limited) is to avoid for serious use. That said, children or others not able to spend more might get decent use out of them.

Got 2 sets of p30i the last time it was on sale and totally regret the purchase. Sound quality is ok for podcast, but unusable for calls or meets. The other side can't hear clearly and have to disable the headset for conversation. Noise cancelling is subpar. Works in quiet environment, but can't handle noisy place, which totally defeat the purpose of noise cancelling. BTW, same problem on both sets of p30i. Would say it's not a QC issue.

Like others, i can't speak to this brand but i can speak to this style. If call quality is your primary use, i would get the traditional style of earbuds with external mics, especially multiple mics. This style of earbuds are never very good for call quality, even the name brands I've used. There's a YouTuber called something like "Sean knows tech" who does call quality tests and reviews many of the inexpensive earbuds and that would be a good place to find reviews.

I liked this!!! I bought a pair, misplaced it in the house, but like it enough to just order a 2nd pair and left the first pair show up whenever it wants hahah
